Thank the Lord for Children

 

The children of the church raised enough money with

their Penny March offering that they donate each Sunday

during children's church to purchase new candle lighters to

be used for the acolytes. Praise God for them!

Youth Picnic Table Raffle

 

The youth are selling $1 chances on a stained,

handcrafted picnic table with umbrella and stand.

The table will be raffled off during the December

 fellowship supper at the church.

Amy Simpson, of Pleasant Grove, will wed Jaymie Heard

at Wesson Baptist Church with a reception following

at the home of Dale and Ginger Heard, the groom's

parents, in the Beauregard community.

 

New Parsonage Housewarming

Sunday, Dec. 7 from 3 until 5 p.m.

 

The Rev. Phillip Heidelberg, our Methodist district

superintendent, will dedicate the parsonage.

 

Deadline to order Poinsettias

The cost of a poinsettia in memory or in honor of your

Christmas Cantata and Evening Service

Sunday, Dec. 21

 

The Christmas cantata is "Tell Me The Story" and will

be held during the morning worship service. An evening

service will be held at 6 p.m. with finger foods to follow.

Cantata practice is each Sunday at 5 p.m.
