The Women of Faith will host this luncheon for
donations immediately following the morning
worship service.

Senior Citizen's Luncheon
Tuesday, February 9 at 11:30 a.m.
Youth Valentine's Day Banquet
Saturday, February 20 at 6 p.m.
The youth will host a Mardi Gras-themed banquet.
A meal, dessert, and entertainment will be offered
for a donation of $10.
Fellowship Supper
Sunday, February 28 at 6 p.m.

Mallalieu UMC "SOUPERBowl" Event
Sunday, February 7 at noon
Pleasant Grove's sister church, Mallalieu UMC, will
host its annual SOUPERBowl fundraiser. Bring your
favorite soups, chili or desserts and enjoy the food
and fellowship for a donation! Proceeds raised will
stay at Mallalieu and benefit outreach projects.

Hope for Haiti from United Methodists
The devastation in Haiti has prompted the United
Methodist Committee on Relief to launch full-scale
disaster relief efforts to the small island country. To
donate to UMCOR, please click here.
Family Life Center improvements on the way
Improvements to the Family Life Center floor are on the
way following a fundraiser and a generous donation
from the Community Crafters in memory of the late
Polly Downs. The floor will be sealed and stained.
Prayer warriors needed for Sunday School

We are seeking PRAYER WARRIORS! The Pleasant Grove
Council on Ministries has asked everyone to pray for the
spiritual renewal of our Sunday School program each
night at 8 p.m. We all know the power of prayer!
Sunday School involvement recognized
Sunday School Superintendent Roger Wilson recently
gave regular attendees, teachers, assistant teachers,
and lifetime members certificates to recognize their
involvement in the PGUMC Sunday School program.
Lifetime members include Roger and Lou Neal, Jerry
and Bernice Wilson, Gayra and Nancy James, Von
Griffith, Gladys Neal, Johnny and Betty Davis, JoAnn
Smith, Hubert and Monel Russell, Marty Beeson,
and Annie Marie Beeson.
